We furnished this classic and romantic Beverly Hills wedding at Greystone Mansion.

“Personal touches, plenty of good food, and a double first look were the hallmarks of Spencer + Linda’s classically lovely union. You might recognize Spencer and Linda since we shared their gorgeous engagement photos (and the story of how they met!) a few months ago. If you didn’t catch those photos, you might just recognize Spencer as he was the former drummer of Panic! at the Disco! (and yep, his best man was Brendon Urie along with Brendon’s wife Sarah who was the maid of honor!) And speaking of those two, we still love looking at their wedding photos from a few years ago! :)

Ok, but back to this gorgeous couple – Linda + Spencer – for today! The two were determined to create a day that truly reflected their relationship, beginning with a backdrop of deep greenery at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills. Tables were set with locally-made treats, Italian antipasti, and a dinner + dessert bar (including churros and strawberry shortcake push-pops, YUM) to keep guests full all night!”

Among a sea of weddings with neutral and muted color palettes that have been increasingly popular lately, this vibrant photo shoot in Los Angeles really stood out. The shoot took place at The Fig House, an urban-style meeting space with mid-century modern architecture and interiors. Shades of red, purple, teal, along with touches of gold on the wedding elements complemented the venue beautifully, creating a luxurious setting inspired by Hollywood glam.

In the middle of the room, stood a white lacquer serpentine dining table from Revelry Event Designers, paired with plush dining chairs as well as sleek dishware and cutlery. Red floral arrangements by Eddie Zaratsian and poppy-colored menus by Maude Press were also present to complete the table settings.

A beautiful dining table wouldn’t be complete without a hearty meal, which was exactly what roomforty brought to the party. That’s not all, desserts and cake by Bottega Louie along with cocktails by Pharmacie were also prepared for the guests to enjoy.

There was so much beauty in one place, and luckily Brian Leahy was behind the lens to capture it all. Is this the kind of wedding you want to have? Tell us what you think about this shoot and don’t forget to add the images to your inspiration board!

“After the first meeting with 13 year-old fashionista, Mikaela, Aliana Events knew that the Bat Mitzvah needed to be chic, stylish, and reflect her lively personality. Bright and girly colors were the focus, using the pink family of blush, magenta, fuschia, hot pink, with hints of green. With the party being held outdoors on the rooftop of the LUXE Hotel on Rodeo Drive, the flowers were designed in a garden style with rich textured linens, tufted blush sofas, and custom glam pillows. The design team felt very inspired by Stella McCartney’s lip collection, which sparked the idea for custom lip chairs, pillows, and ottomans. Those small details took this party to the next level on the glam scale. As a popular element at any Bat Mitzvah, the photo booth was one of Mikaela’s focal points for the party. A green hedge wall was built and framed by lush dahlias, garden roses, and topiary plants to serve as the backdrop for the photos. Below sat a glamorous lounge chair from Revelry Design, accented by custom lip pillows that made for such a girly setting for Mikaela and her besties. No party is complete without a killer dessert display, and this one did not disappoint. Desserts such as fashion-inspired cookies, macaron towers, cake pops, and croquembouche displays sat atop a custom bar with beautiful florals and topiaries.”

“To inspire brides desiring garden-inspired nuptials, Edgar Zamora of Revelry Event Designers and Amy Child Marella of The Hidden Garden designed a couple sophisticated lounge spaces that would be perfect for a summer wedding. For the shoot, Zamora created a whimsical and elegant garden reception space inspired by the California landscape. “We wanted to bring the outdoors into our studio and celebrate outdoor summer weddings,” he shares. The result? “An elegant garden wedding reception design with a modern twist using our new ‘Washington’ crystal chandeliers‘Deco’ gold accent furniture, and our ‘Palermo’ furniture collection.” The florals designed by Marella featured bright pops of pinks and reds with natural greens and a sensational ceiling treatment that complemented the green hedge panels surrounding the space.”

We are eager to share with you a project that our very own Edgar Zamora took a special part in as guest designer.

Bran Castle, in the immediate vicinity of Braşov, is a national monument and landmark in Romania, commonly known as Dracula’s Castle. The exquisite and intricate castle tells a story of it’s very own… this is how the Romanian Mystery Project was born. An international team of exceptional designers came together to achieve the most stunning result.

For the next three days, we will be sharing the #RomanianMysteryProject in multiple episodes. Take a look at the story that unfolded…

“Once upon a time in a magnificent castle, a princess bride lies dreaming of her prince. Her groom dreams of the next time his eyes will finally meet hers. He ponders on life, and how his bride will complete him. As the princess awakens from her slumber, she realizes her dreams will soon become reality. A life of romance and happiness is about to begin…

Her prince travels through the castle looking for her. As he strolls the halls and its elegant ambience, serenity overwhelms him. She hears a voice down the hallway. Her love has finally arrived, and they are ready to begin their journey…

The princess bride takes a stroll through the forest outside the castle walls, amidst the brisk winter air. As a token of their love, the groom leaves a red rose for his bride. The rose smells sweet and tells of their love further more than words ever can…

Entering the manor through a snow-covered hallway, the prince takes a moment to whisper his love to his bride. Just as the excitement in the princess bride grew, her one rose magically flourished into grand romantic blooms. The castle had turned her dreams into reality. It became clear to the princess that the castle became her very own wonderland, filled with everything she had dreamed of. She knew the best part was yet to come…

They made their way to the wishing well garden. It was here, among the timeless castle and overflowing flowers, when they knew forever wasn’t long enough…

Their first dance followed, among the flickering lights of the candelabra. The royal families were seated at their tables. The dining room had been transformed into elegant sophistication. The deep red roses and gold silverware complimented the castle’s magnificence. A candlelit ceremony space was more than the princess bride had ever dreamed of…

Untitled designOur stunningly dramatic red styled shoot inspired by Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is featured on Inside Weddings.

Click here to see the full feature.

This shoot was truly a fairytale come true with an opulent table setting inspired by Disney’s 1991 classic movie, Beauty and the Beast. The scarlet draped curtains with gold fringe trim alluded to the cinematic inspiration of the shoot, and a bullion chandelier evoked the image of Belle’s gown.

The red and gold baroque style continued throughout the place settings and glassware, with burgundy crystal wine glasses and champagne flutes. However, the highlight of the table scape was a single rose in a dome, the perfect nod to this timeless movie.

Today, we step into a styled shoot inspired by the traditional floating markets in Bangkok, Thailand with Sonia Sharma Events and Design and Celios Design. Originating in times and places where water transportation played and important role in daily life, floating markets were ways to sell vegetables, fruits and other goods from small boats. Most floating markets now operate as tourist attractions, with the most notable in Ratchaburi, Thailand called Damnoen Saduak.

Energized by the lively and bygone way of life, Sonia Sharma’s vision of her floating market was heightened with a fusion of color and beauty. A team consisting of Revelry Event DesignersEni Pra MakeupCouture Beauty TeamR-Mine Bespoke came together for the event, with the day captured by Andrena Photography

AndrenaPhoto_Revelry_SSE_07

The team sourced tropical fruits and vegetables similar to those that are sold on the market in Thailand to recreate the atmosphere. Celio Paulo de Almeida’s recipe consisted of a mixture of flowers, fruits and vegetables using roses, garden flowers, daisies, sunflowers, carnations, apples, watermelons, peppers, mangos, pineapple, oranges, peaches, grapes and bananas.

They opted for the creation of a custom-made umbrella draped with full and delicate blooms over a traditional bouquet. The end result was simply stunning to behold.

AndrenaPhoto_Revelry_SSE_03

Three R-Mine Bespoke gowns were worn by the model throughout the day. Arminé Ohanessian’s couture gowns magnetize the attention of fashion lovers around the world. As the creative designer of R-mine Bespoke, she compliments modernism with old-fashioned quality workmanship. R-mine caters to all occasions from timeless and elegant bridal gowns to show-stopping red carpet ensembles. The gowns used for the shoot included:

Chriselle: Vintage inspired silk chiffon gown with a pleated bodice; detailed with Chantilly lace cape sleeves which trail down to a deep low back. Skirt is hand draped and finished with a swarovski brooch.

Brooklyn: Halter neck gown with a plunging low back, made in a dotted charmeuse. Adorned with an art-deco inspired crystal belt.

Rosette: Strapless gown with a plunging v-neckline. Bodice is adorned with handmade rosettes and pleated detail. Skirt is hand draped and finished with a swarovski brooch.

A truly beautiful vision. Dina Douglass shared with us her interpretation of the story from the day below in a short essay.

She woke to find her dreams had been of flowers . . . flowers from the floating market on the midnight azure waters of her village. As the slumber fell from her eyes, she felt herself being drawn towards the water that had surrounded her since she was a girl. She dressed herself in white and tiptoed outside towards the beckoning call of the river. There, a parasol covered in vibrant blossoms awaited her hand. As she reached for it, she saw a red canoe floating nearby. The vessel was filled with flowers and fruits, each promising to take her on a journey bathed in mystery.

She stepped in, and the water gently carried her away from her home. She had always felt as one with the water and with the colors that now dotted the darkness of the river. The water knew her best, and she knew the water would know where to go.
