Details of black and white outline this special graduation celebration. Guests were seated along our long, curved serpentine table that was decorated with modern details and elegant glassware and floral arrangements. The strategic and masculine color palette of black, white and hints of copper and gold from our Amsterdam dining chairs was carried throughout the entire tablescape. An oversized balloon arrangement was a centerpiece of the outdoor celebration and was positioned near the entrance to the event in the venue’s back yard.

The color palette was complimented by rays of sunshine and freshly cut green grass. We aided in creating an aroma of congratulatory celebration in the atmosphere of the graduation party. Outdoor furniture was strategically designed to add a modern essence to the sophisticated graduation celebration. Couches, chairs and tables of metallic and modern detail graced the open lawn.  The details of this entire event harmonized flawlessly to capture the pride and excitement guests were feeling throughout their graduation.

We loved working on this opulent wedding design for Jered and Kristin. The party drew from a palette of ivory, gold, and blue.

The reception area was extravagant and incredibly stunning; guests were immersed in a state of luxury upon entrance. Lights were programmed to yield a gold-colored light and large crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling. Lush white florals and greenery suspended from the ceiling and took this event to new heights, guests drew their attention upward to gaze at the stunning installation. The room became instantly infused with nature. Tables were lined in lace linen and accented with blue and gold place settings and candelabras. Tree-like topiaries were placed atop select tables.

A cake fit for royalty was created for the happy couple. In ivory, the cake was decorated with gold flowers that cascaded down the front of the cake. Hand-drawn flowers in gold and blue were featured toward the top and bottom layers. Most importantly, Jered and Kristin’s initials appeared in gold letters.

On her special day, Kristin wore a gorgeous ivory gown that was fitted and flared toward the bottom. Her hair was pulled back and she wore a beautiful pair of pearl drop earrings. Her dashing groom wore a black suit, ivory bow tie, and boutonniere.

The newlyweds spend the evening dancing and enjoying the company of family and dearest friends.

Revelry Event Designers created the perfect day at the Bel-Air Hotel for Romina’s late spring pastel wedding. Soft colors of pink, orange and white were combined with leaves of greenery to create unique floral arrangements that fit the day perfectly. Upholstered royal chairs gave off elegance and exuded glam for the outdoor ceremony at the perfectly fitting Bel-Air Hotel. Revelry Event Designers also detailed Romania’s wedding with hints of gold. Sitting areas were among the outdoor decor and sprinkled throughout the gardens as they let guests enjoy the special evening.

Guests were amid a pastel and gold themed dream. Small details came together to create the ultimate décor for Romina’s wedding. The couple recited their vows beneath a crystal chandelier held by four pillars of pink and white roses that were accented with greenery. Floral tabletop arrangements of peonies and roses were romantic and an effortless combination of the perfect floral blooms for Romina’s special day.

Revelry Event Designers created a romantic and intimate indoor reception that was both glamorous and elegant. The tall, oversized table arrangements were lifted to allow for conversation at the guests’ tablescapes and were detailed with light hanging greenery that sparked the romantic ambiance. The floral arrangements were also hinted with touches of red flowers that symbolized love. The newlyweds celebrated their wedding with an elegant color palette and efortless design. The Bel-Air Hotel was the perfect host for such a magnificent event for such a special couple. Simple tabletop décor of flowers and candles added captivating grace.

Every detail from the crystal table décor to floral arrangements and elegant outdoor ceremony setting was the perfect culmination of the effortless design by Revelry Event Designers. Guests danced the night away at the beautiful indoor reception. The entire night’s design was unique and an elegant combination of sophistication and gracefulness.

We recently had an opportunity to work with her on May Sweeps for Sony Studios.  We asked Wendy to give us her thoughts on the design and she and her client provided us with the  following commentary.

From SONY:

For our LA Screenings event, I would say my main source of inspiration was the Venetian island of Murano’s famous glass sculptures and objects.  I went to Italy last year before LA screenings and loved how sophisticated yet cutting-edge the glass furniture looked.  I felt that it was fresh and could be a trend-setting element in events which led me to think of incorporating glass and lucite throughout our venue to embody this same style.  Additionally, I would say Lara and I were both very much inspired by the 2013 Oscar stage hanging Edison bulbs.  After we watched it we both came in the next day and felt that we wanted to use Edison bulbs in some sort of grand chandelier.
Personally, I felt your [Wendy Creed Productions] role surpassed our expectations in bringing our vision to life.  We truly presented you [Wendy Creed] with so many different ideas and images yet you were able to transform these elements into one cohesive event using workable event décor.  Furthermore, you [Wendy Creed] brought together such an amazing team full of experienced individuals and ultimately helped create and design the 190 foot projection wall which displayed all of our talent.  We knew that we wanted to have a moment that proved we are a powerful company full of amazing talent and you were able to deliver.

Los Angeles Opera Season-Opening with Special Occasions Event Planning: We love this time of year for events and Fall marks the opening of the Los Angeles Opera. We were honored to be a part of this historical event with Special Occasions Event Planning. 2013 marks the 28th season! The Los Angeles Opera Season-Opening Gala and premier of CARMEN, conducted by Los Angeles Opera general director Plácido Domingo was celebrated with a Spanish flair. For the after party, we built luxurious cabanas and VIP table seating in bold, rich colors. Our stained glass bars are not to be missed! Check our Ethnic bars here and here.

We collaborated with Classic Party Rentals- Los Angeles for this 2013 Grammy Party at Staples Center, LA Live. Pink and grey were the colors of the night for this chic lounge event. The main room was lit with Berlin Chandeliers and carpeted in pink. The lounge seating was a combination of round banquettes, Los Angeles sofas with ottomans for extra seating and raised bar tables. Food stations were showcased on our Las Vegas tables and specialty cocktails were named after popular songs of the year.

Here is a preview that will leave you wanting more! We spent the week prior to this wedding draping and prepping Gulls-Way in Malibu for a breathtaking wedding with Mindy Weiss. Every detail was thought through (as usual) by Mindy and her team. We hand painted the couples vows on an oversized mirror, draped around any tree that stood in the way and designed a show-stopping head table. Mark’s Garden created an over-the-top lush garden for the ceremony and beautiful floral art for the reception. Stay tuned for the professional photos from Elizabeth Messina.   1. Start with the color palette: For this wedding, the key color was rose gold, which we used as an accent along with a mix of creams and whites. We stayed true to the color palette for every element. The rose gold was found on the custom linen piping, flowers vases on the tables and the lighting.rose_gold_white_ivory_blush_wedding_color_swatch_v152_cs

  2. Add 1,000 candles: There is nothing more romantic than a room lit with candles. The soft glow puts everyone at ease and provides a gorgeous illumination for all of the guests. I find the warm glow to be an organic element that is really dramatic.
  3. Create a clean canvas: I always drape the walls to provide a starting point for the design. The event could be held in an iconic, notable ballroom or a nondescript tent; the drapery edits all and provides a perfect canvas to create a stylish signature event.

rose_gold_pink_romantic_wedding_roses_invitations_ceci_johnson_v152_om_3g4. Design around the flow of the evening and the guests: I always place the bars near the dance floor. In this case the entire room was a dance floor so the bars were set next to the dancing area.

5. Mix up the seating: We provided six different styles of seating. We had round banquets with round tables, straight banquets with square tables. Some of the tables were mirror top and some had gorgeous linens. We even had a 16-foot-long long feast table. It made the space planning quite challenging, and we had to account for every inch of space. It was well worth the extra time and thought as it made for a very interesting room.
