We are excited to see the Luxe Launch 2017 design, “SOMETHING BLUE… Taking Romance to Infinity” by Crown Weddings and Jennifer Cole Florals featured on Novelty Bride Magazine!

Gold details were incorporated into the table elements and truly complimented the unique color palette of greys, silvers, pinks and white. Accents of the effortless design were accentuated in the dim, candlelit atmosphere. Place settings were created specifically with each guest in mind and were personalized with each of their names. Fresh roses were credited with encompassing the essence of a magical evening.

Take an inside look of the design from this interview with Jennifer Cole Florals:

1) What was your inspiration behind your design?

JC: I wanted to do something different, and give the effect of the floral spilling from the chandelier onto the tabletop and onto the floor, with the cream and golden yellow of the floral, representing light.

2) Can you tell us about your design collaboration and process with your team?

JC: This collaboration with Luxe and the rental and glassware/ china company was such a pleasure. We had such freedom to choose whatever rental items we wanted! So fun! Crown weddings helped pull it all together!

3) What was the most unexpected element that you added?

JC: We added the amber chairs, because they were clear but still had the element of warmth and light…to go with our concept.

4) What is your favorite part of the tabletop?

JC: The flowers spilling from the floral tower onto the floor, and yellow. No one uses yellow. A Highly underrated color!

5) Is it exactly what you envisioned out to begin with?

JC: Design always changes a bit, that’s the freedom of not having a client to answer to. the strung orchids on the ceiling were a last minute change because you couldn’t see them from the backdrop…

6) How did being given a linen impact your process?

JC: The linen is fun to try to design around, and a challenge as well. It makes you think.

7) What is the reaction to the new LUXE Linen line?

JC: Gorgeous as always!!!

8) How did Vibiana as a space impact your design?

JC: Those ceilings and the lighting there were a huge bonus! You have to be dramatic in that space, or you would just be lost!

“After the first meeting with 13 year-old fashionista, Mikaela, Aliana Events knew that the Bat Mitzvah needed to be chic, stylish, and reflect her lively personality. Bright and girly colors were the focus, using the pink family of blush, magenta, fuschia, hot pink, with hints of green. With the party being held outdoors on the rooftop of the LUXE Hotel on Rodeo Drive, the flowers were designed in a garden style with rich textured linens, tufted blush sofas, and custom glam pillows. The design team felt very inspired by Stella McCartney’s lip collection, which sparked the idea for custom lip chairs, pillows, and ottomans. Those small details took this party to the next level on the glam scale. As a popular element at any Bat Mitzvah, the photo booth was one of Mikaela’s focal points for the party. A green hedge wall was built and framed by lush dahlias, garden roses, and topiary plants to serve as the backdrop for the photos. Below sat a glamorous lounge chair from Revelry Design, accented by custom lip pillows that made for such a girly setting for Mikaela and her besties. No party is complete without a killer dessert display, and this one did not disappoint. Desserts such as fashion-inspired cookies, macaron towers, cake pops, and croquembouche displays sat atop a custom bar with beautiful florals and topiaries.”

It was all about pink and tufting for this lucky Bat Mitzvah birthday girl! This vignette for the birthday girl was covered in tufted panels and accented with the birthday girl’s love of fashion. We used with bolts of fabric from Mood and inspirational cork boards. Tying in the birthday girl’s love of fashion, logos of her favorite fashion brands were projected on the draping around the dining room. Guests were seated at long mirrored table on our Paris Tufted Chairs.

Bridal Guide Magazine has featured an incredible wedding we worked on with The Special Day Event Planning and Design. With the help of other vendors like The Mille Fiori, Wildflower Linen and G2 Audio & Lighting, we transformed the Tuscan style ballroom at the Montage Beverly Hills into a glamourous Chanel-inspired wedding.

A Beautiful Four Seasons Wedding

This gorgeous wedding at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills was over the top in a very good way! We draped white, sheer fabric at the ceremony and in the ballroom to create a glamorous look for this amazing wedding. We also created custom quilted bars and wall treatments, paper flower backdrops and created a custom-made stage. We also brought along our tufted banquettes, lounges and mirrored tables to complete the look!
