Mindy Weiss‘ son, Jordan, was recently married at the Bookbindery in Culver City and we were happy to be a part of this incredible wedding and reception! The gorgeous event is being featured on the Inside Weddings blog and is filled with amazing details and beauty! Click here for the full Inside Weddings story.
Every year, 1,500 international buyers come to L.A. in the spring to screen new shows and this year, we worked with Hillary Harris to create a Country Provence look for Warner Brothers Studios. We brought chairs from our Versailles Collection and some Shabby Chic chairs (center photo) featuring a hand-painted leaf design. We also designed this lounge area with our two-tone oatmeal and cream linen sofa and ottomans covered in burlap. For more photos of this event, please click here to see Hillary Harris’ blog.
What a beautiful wedding and reception at the Hotel Bel Air with Mindy Weiss. We decorated the outdoor area with our Versailles furniture collection and inside we brought our more modern silver furniture, mirrored tables and bar. We collaborated with Mindy Weiss and other amazing vendors like Mark’s Garden to create this beautiful Malibu wedding. We brought our Versailles tables and pine cone crystal chandeliers to complete the look. Mark’s Garden designed gorgeous Manzania branches with moss and amnesia roses in creams, blush and white.
Guests were treated to individually wrapped fresh baguette which was wrapped in kraft as well as a bottle of wine produced by the winery with the same kraft wrapping. For more photos by Elizabeth Messina, visit the Mindy Weiss blog!
We love working with the talented ladies at Details Details and so when we were asked to help out with the photo shoot for Coordinator CONFAB at the SLS Hotel, we happily said “YES!” This lovely pastel scene was a collaborative vision between Sunny Ravanbach of White Lilac, Inc and Details Details.
Pastels are what’s in for Spring and after deciding on a color scheme of pastel greens, pinks and blues, they began to create this yummy design. We brought our Versailles furniture to complement the Spring pastel look and feel. For the full story and lots of beautiful photos by Mike Colon on the Wedding Chicks Blog, click here.

Our previous post, The Art of Transformation Part 7: Fashion, received such a positive response that we’ve decided to turn it into a regular thing. We’re calling it Good Form and we’ll be creating a marriage of beautiful taplescapes, events and weddings with what’s haute now. Art is in the details and when you spend so much time making sure every last detail of your event is perfect, don’t stop at what you’re wearing. Fashion is another form of design and we aim to incorporate it into everything we do.
Our first Good Form entry starts off with a photo shoot we did at the Langham Huntington in Pasadena for Grace Ormonde’s Wedding Style magazine. We created this romantic look using our line of Versailles furniture, but we did have some help from our friends. Hidden Garden Floral Design designed the gorgeous floral arrangements, Hire Elegance brought some of their lovely items, the Hermes china came from Gearys (one of our favorite stores), Peterson Event Lighting made sure the ambiance was perfect and Lawrence Chan Photography shot the images.

Malibu is the perfect place for a beautiful and casual beach party. We helped Mindy Weiss create this understated, comfortable and natural birthday party in a blue, taupe and white color scheme. Mark’s Garden designed some gorgeous floral arrangements using roses, orchids and succulents; while also incorporating drift wood and other natural beach elements.
The blue design on the lanterns was tied into other components for the party, including the menus and pillows placed on the Revelry furniture. We created furniture groupings in several places on the property so guests could lounge comfortably whether they were enjoying a cocktail on the patio or hanging out with friends on the beach. Later in the evening, the guests gathered around the fire pit and made s’mores. What a great way to spend your birthday!
